PRODUCT FAQs

  • Chloe and Beth are both qualified Art Psychotherapists having studied to Masters Degree level and regularly undertake continued professional development to keep up to date with recent evidence and training. To be a qualified Psychotherapist it is a requirement you undergo a minimum of two years of in depth psychotherapy, this is not a requirement of many other mental health professionals.

    Why is this important?

Undertaking personal therapy ensures psychotherapists understand themselves deeply, this in turn enables them to work ethically and safely with vulnerable individuals. Unless we understand ourselves, how could we help someone else?

Chloe and Beth are also members of HCPC, the governing body in the UK for specialist professionals. HCPC regulates their members to ensure they are continually adding up to date training to their experience and are practicing ethically with adequate supervision. HCPC also has a strict code of conduct which the therapists on their books must comply with, this keeps you safe. If therapists do not comply with the code of conducts, their license will be removed meaning they cannot legally offer professional services anymore.

Chloe and Beth have over 20+ years of combined experience working within specialist NHS and charitable sector roles offering psychotherapy, Art Psychotherapy, trauma-focussed CBT and EMDR therapy to their clients.

To be a practicing psychotherapist you must have no criminal record, any criminal record will be investigated by the governing body, HCPC, which can result in your license to practice being taken away. You must also have an up to date and enhanced DBS check. Chloe and Beth can be searched on the HCPC register to confirm their eligibility to practice in the UK.
